About Us
Kensington & Chelsea Cats was established by Mother and Daughter duo, Kate and Anastasia O'Brien, after experiencing first-hand the difficulties cat owners face when travelling and working away from home. Whilst there are many pet agencies out there, so often animals are treated like a number and not given the proper care and attention they deserve whilst you are away.
Being dedicated cat-lovers and knowing how precious our own cats' wellbeing is to us, we decided to set up a pet sitting agency with a difference: one that focuses solely on cats, ensuring they are totally content and happy whilst you are away. We offer a one to one service where we visit your cat in the stress-free environment of your own home or provide a permanent presence house-sitting in your home. We ensure your cat is cared for on his or her own terms with as much attention, entertainment and loving as he requires or enjoys when you must spend time away. A health and welfare check is made at each visit, as well as the practicalities of refreshing the litter trays, feeding, watering and grooming. Unlike some pet agencies, we will communicate with you on a daily basis and send you regular photos and text updates. We are fully insured and recommended by local vets.

Kate has been a professional pet sitter for over 25 years and has a life-long passion for animals. In addition to cats, she has owned and cared for horses, dogs, chickens, ducks and geese! She is currently owned by two Battersea rescue cats, Suki and Hebe. She firmly believes cats can make a house a home!
Anastasia O'Brien

From childhood, Anastasia has always been surrounded with cats, growing up with them in the Warwickshire countryside. The love of her life is rescue cat, Poppy, whom she dotes on. She is also a keen photographer and cat owners will be pleased to hear she will send a steady stream of photos and videos of their cats.

The intrepid Elaine is a valuable member of the team, as our many clients and their cats would attest to. Her truly caring nature led her into working with animals and she always gives our furry clients the same care and attention she gives her own cats, Puss and Monkey, who demand nothing less!
